Ursinet Hosting was started by Joseph A. Hayden in the latter part of the 1990’s. He saw his first web browser in his first year of law school and knew that it was going to be revolutionary. He immediately started purchasing top-level domains as he saw the value in having your own real estate in the soon-to-be crowded online world. He also saw that he could help get others off the ground with their wishes to be in that world, so he created Ursinet to bring companies and individuals together by hosting and maximizing the benefit of maintaining one’s own domains and websites. Together with his legal education, activism, pro bono work for various non-profits, and his work experience in various industries as a network administrator, analyst, consultant, and Technical Project Manager, he brings a breadth of knowledge that benefits a variety of clients. Joseph has lived in the San Francisco Bay Area and the cultural epicenter of New York City most of his life. Joseph has a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from City University of New York and a Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School.
